The Reisterstown Volunteer Fire Company was awarded an Emergency Response and Safety grant from BGE.  The grant will be used to purchase a Lucas CPR chest compression system (it will cover $8,000 of the $14,000 cost).  The Lucas will perform chest compressions on patients in cardiac arrest and will allow personnel that  would be performing chest compressions to perform other patient care tasks.  It will perform consistent compressions without fatigue and makes it easier for EMS personnel to move patients without any interruption in CPR.

The members and officers of the Reisterstown Volunteer Fire Company would like to thank BGE for awarding the grant to our community!

This past Monday evening was the swearing in ceremony for the Board and Officers. Present were Chief Hohman, Assistant Chief Utz and Councilwoman Almond.

Last night the FHS football team fought a hard game and unfortunately they lost by a couple of points.  The Reisterstown Volunteer Fire Company is still proud of their achievement and were joined by Glyndon Volunteers at FHS to welcome the team back from the game.

Santa is coming to town!

Santa will be riding the firetrucks between 7p till around 8:30p-9p.

[Santa wants to see everyone and we will make every attempt to get to all these areas but the schedule is dependent on weather and fire calls.]
