Detached Garage Fire in Glyndon

At approximately 4:30pm on Monday, Reisterstown and multiple other units from Baltimore County and Carroll County were dispatched to a detached garage fire in Glyndon. Engine 412 arrived, corrected the dispatched address and quickly pulled a handline to extinguish the fire. Squad 414 and other units began arriving and assisted the first in crews. The fire was contained to the detached garage with no extension to the house. Units were on scene for approximately an hour.

Garage Fire in Carroll County

E412 along with Carroll and other Baltimore County Units were dispatched for a large, detached garage fire. E412 arrived 3rd behind Engines from Gamber and Reese. Crews assisted with extinguishment, overhaul and water shuttling as there were no hydrants in the area.

Apartment Fire on Brookebury Dr

Last night around 8:15pm units were alerted for an apartment fire on Brookbury Drive in Reisterstown (56’s area). Engine 412, Squad 414, Engine 413, Ambulance 415 and many other units from the surrounding area arrived to find heavy fire from multiple units. Command called for a second alarm due to the number of units on fire. RVFC’s units helped with fire extinguishment, search, ventilation and overhaul. Units were on scene until about 1:00 am.

Person Trapped in Truck on Route 140

This afternoon A405 came across a truck flipped over with someone trapped inside on Route 140 towards Westminster. Numerous apparatus from Baltimore County and Carroll County including S414 were dispatched on the call.

Crews worked for approximately an hour to extricate the patient trapped in the vehicle. And a State Trooper helicopter was used to transport the patient to the hospital.

Garage Fire

Last night E413 along with other surrounding apparatus were alerted for a garage fire in Station 56’s area. E56 arrived to fire showing from a detached garage. E413 assisted with fire attack and overhaul. Units were on scene for approximately an hour.

Car off the Road in Chestnut Ridge

Early this morning S414 was alerted for a car that had gone off the road and down an embankment. Station 50 arrived first and confirmed that one person was trapped in the vehicle. S414 setup the side winch to stabilize the vehicle and removed the door to extricate the patient.
