Today just before noon a single vehicle hit a telephone pole. Engine 412 had just cleared a medical call and was already on the road. E412 and M19 were dispatched for a motor vehicle collision. Once E412 arrived we requested a rescue due to the driver being trapped in the vehicle. S414, SU418 along with other units in the area (T404, BC22 and EMS5) were dispatched to assist with the rescue. The patient was extricated reasonably quickly and were transported by MSP Trooper helicopter to the hospital.

Station 41 at the Dog Fest
Ambulance 415 and E413 attended the DogFest at the Human Society today. We had a great time meeting lots of different dogs!!
Carroll County Building Fire
E412 and S414 were dispatched on a second alarm building fire in Hampstead. Units arrived and assisted with crews for a short time and then were placed back in service.
Remembering…
It was 18 years ago that 343 firefighters died serving others. Unfortunately, there are many, many more who have died since from cancer and related issues from the attack. We remember all those who have given their lives…

RVFC attended the fireworks tonight.
Reisterstown Parade
Thanks to all that came out to the Reisterstown Parade for the start of the Reisterstown Festival. It is great to see so many people out to see the community.
Extrication Training
Tonight some newer members did basic extrication training on a car that was donated to the fire house. It is good for all members to have an understanding on how we do extrication even before the take the vehicle and machinery classes.
National Night Out
Thanks to all those that came to visit us at National Night Out in Chartley. Kids and adults were excited to get up on a fire truck and asked great questions about what we do!
E412 and S414 to Carroll County for House Fire
Tonight around supper time E412 and S414 were dispatched to Carroll County for a house fire in Gamber’s area. E412 arrive second and setup water supply for the attack engine. S414 continued down to the house to assist crews with extinguishment and overhaul. Reisterstown’s apparatus was on scene for approximately 1 hour.
