This afternoon there was an MVC at the Franklin Road at Reisterstown Road intersection. Two people were trapped in the vehicle. One was able to walk out once we opened up the windshield. The second person had to be extricated. S414 and other units were on-scene for approximately 20 minutes.

This morning Engine 413 and Squad 414 were alerted for a house fire with people unaccounted for up in Upperco. Engine 413 and S414 were the 2nd and 3rd arriving apparatus with smoke coming out from the eves. E851 and E413 pulled handlines in to put out the fire. S414 did secondary search, laddered the house and went to the roof to cut holes to check for fire. Crews were on scene for approximately an hour. Thankfully no one was in the house and everyone was accounted for.

Today, Station 41 and Station 18 met up to train on water hookup, pumping the engines, pumping the ladder pipe and deck gun operations.

This afternoon Engine 412 along with other Baltimore County units were dispatched to a barn fire in Carroll County. E412’s crew assisted with fire attack and overhaul and were on scene for approximately 3 hours.

Then, this evening E413 was alerted for a rekindle of the barn fire. Crews from Baltimore County and Carroll County put out the rekindle.
