On June 18th, 2014 at 1811 hours units were alerted for a house fire in Company 42’s (Boring) area. Engine 413 and Squad 414 responded staffed with 4 volunteers on each piece. Engine 413 dispatched as the 4th due engine, arrived first, and  advised they had smoke showing from the rear of  a 1 story rancher.   Crews stretched a line and knocked the fire.   Squad 414 arrived as the first due special service, laddered the building and opened up for the engine company.  Companies operated for approximately one hour before returning to service.
