Just before midnight last night S414, E413 and several surrounding stations were alerted for a rescue with one person trapped in the vehicle. A415 and S414 arrived to find a car on its side. E413 and SU418 shortly after. The occupant was not injured. S414 stabilized the vehicle and cut the front windshield so the occupant could step out.
Two RVFC Members Receive Awards
On September 19, 2015 the Baltimore County Volunteer Firemen’s Association held its Annual Awards Banquet at the Bowley’s Quarters Volunteer Fire Department. The banquet is used to recognize individuals who have shown outstanding and dedicated service to the Baltimore County Volunteer Firemen’s Association and its member companies.
A new award was developed this year to recognize individuals who have earned at least 50 accredited LOSAP points for 50 years. Mr. Fred Linker and Mr. Ted Schultz of the Reisterstown Volunteer Fire Company were honored with this award at the banquet. Congratulations to Mr. Linker and Mr. Schultz for this outstanding achievement.
