Last night around 10pm RVFC along with surrounding companies were dispatched for a truck fire in a garage in Boring’s area. E412 arrived first to find a truck fully involved in an attached garage. Crews pulled a handline, pulled the garage door off and attacked the fire. A working fire and tanker strike team were dispatched. Due to the lack of water availability (no hydrants) the fire moved into the house. In all, more than 11 engines and tankers from Baltimore and Carroll Counties were involved in fire attack and water shuttle in order to put the fire out. Once a water supply was confirmed, then crews made an interior attack. Units were on scene for approximately 4 hours.
