We got together with another company and spent an evening doing pumps and hydrant training. Obviously getting water into the engine and then out to the fire is one of the most important aspects for the first in engine company. We practiced setting up the “heavy water hookup” where we get as much water out of the hydrant as possible.

Bob Murray Sr Inducted into the BCVFA Hall of Fame
Last night Bob Murray Sr was inducted into the BCVFA Hall of Fame. He has been an active member of the Reisterstown Volunteer Fire Company for several decades and celebrating his 50th year anniversary as a member of the BCVFA. He retired after 32 years in service at BCoFD and served on numerous rescue committees. He is a mentor and leader here at RVFC and we congratulate him on this Award!
In Memory of Gene Kirchner
Ten years ago today, Gene Kirchner left us after a significant injury while attempting to save people in a house fire in Reisterstown on April 24, 2013. We will always remember you Gene.
