E412 and E413 were alerted for a town house fire in Carroll County. It was upgraded to people trapped which brought apparatus from Carroll, Baltimore and York counties. E412 arrived 3rd and assisted crews extinguishing the fire. E413 arrived shortly after but was then released.
E412 was dispatched to a house fire in Carroll County yesterday afternoon. Crews arrived to a fully involved house fire. E412 assisted Carroll crews to extinguish the fire.
Last night around 7pm fire apparatus in our area were alerted to the reports of an apartment fire off Brookbury Ave. Engine 412 and S414 arrived shortly after E56 and found a small kitchen fire primarily in the stove. The fire was put out quickly and then crews removed the smoke from the apartment. Units were on-scene for approximately 45 minutes.
E412 was dispatched to a house fire in Carroll County. E412 arrived with the 2nd due engine. Crews went inside and assisted with extinguishment and overhaul.
Last night Carroll County requested Squad 414 for a detached garage fire. Squad 414 responded along with many Carroll units to a fully involved detached garage fire.
This afternoon E412 was alerted for an auto fire in Station 56’s area. E19 was added to the call as it was reported to be near a structure. E412 arrived to find a single vehicle with the engine compartment fully involved. E412 extinguished the fire.
Over the last 12 hours, S414 was on two MVCs where someone was trapped in the car. Early this morning in Butler’s area a car went off the road and hit a tree, trapping the driver in the vehicle. Units from 41, 56, 40, 17 and others extricated the patient.
Then later this morning a car went off the road just behind the fire station at Franklin and slid down the embankment. The driver was trapped in the vehicle and units from 41, 56, 19, and 18 extricated the driver from that vehicle.
Around 10pm last night units along the 795 corridor, including S414, were dispatched for a house fire in Garrison’s area. First arriving units had a working fire on the 2nd floor of a row home. S414 assisted companies with opening up the roof and with overhaul.
Late Saturday night someone called into the station about a crash on Route 140 near the Carroll County line. S414 went enroute to look for the MVC. We found it on the Carroll side and assisted Carroll County units with a 2 car MVC.
Early this evening E413, S414 and M415, along with surrounding companies were dispatch for a car over the embankment on the 795. S414 arrived to find one person trapped in the vehicle. The vehicle was stabilized as the vehicle landed on a hill which was also very muddy and slippery. Crews lifted the patient into a stokes basket and lifted up the hill along the ladders. Patient was transported to a nearby hospital.
